Adult Pottery - Hand Building & Wheel Instruction with Stoneware Clay
In this three session class, participants will be introduced to basic techniques of hand building, throwing on a potter’s wheel, and glazing. Using stoneware clay and earth tone glazes, participants will create pieces of art using an electric wheel, slab roller and extruder. The first two sessions are devoted to creating and the last session will focus on glazing. Participants are encouraged to bring an apron or towel. This class meets for 2 hours each of the three sessions . The total is $148/participant (Venmo, cash, or check, at the beginning of the lesson). Please register each person individually, must be at least 18 years old.

Pottery Workshop - Families, Friends, and Individuals
This class is for those who love to create things with their hands. During this pottery workshop sampler, participants will use a slab roller, extruder and an electric pottery wheel. Participants will use a variety of colors to glaze their pieces at the end of class. This class uses low fire white clay and meets for 2.5 hours. Participants are encouraged to bring an apron or towel. The total $58/participant (Venmo, cash, or check, at the beginning of the lesson). Please register each person individually, must be at least 8 years old.

Holiday Pottery Workshop - Families, Friends, and Individuals
During this family, friends, and individual pottery workshop, participants can use a slab roller, extruder, or an electric pottery wheel to create decorative holiday pottery gifts. Participants will use a variety of colors to glaze their pieces at the end of class. This class uses low fire white clay and meets for 1.5 hours. Participants are encouraged to bring an apron or towel. The total is $32/participant (Venmo, cash, or check, at the beginning of the lesson). Please register each person individually, must be at least 8 years old.

Pottery Party
Birthdays and Group Gatherings
Minimum is 4 and maximum is 16
This lesson is ideal for birthday parties, girl/boy scouts, and small groups who want an introduction to hand building and the pottery wheel. Each participant will create a decorative cylinder (pen/pencils/art supply container) and a bowl on a pottery wheel (with help). Participants will use a variety of colors to glaze their pieces at the end of class. You are welcome to come before and stay after the class for setup, food, gifts, etc. This class uses low fire white clay and meets for 1.5 hours. The total is $22/participant (Venmo, cash, or check, at the beginning of the lesson). Please register each person individually, must be at least 8 years old.

Hand Building Pottery Workshop - At Your Location
I will come to your location for this pottery class. During the workshop participants will use hand-building techniques to make a variety of decorative objects. We will create and glaze during each session. Finished pieces can be picked up at Craig Seath's studio. Please call or email for more information.
